.357 Revolver

Hey gamers, today we are looking at the .357 Weapon Information for the Handgun in Modern Warfare.

The .357 unlocks when your player rank reaches level 21 and it has a weapon max level of 41.  It a 6 bullet revolver and with the snake shot ammo can turn into a 1 shot kill up close. It is a trusty secondary, but needs to be leveled up quite a bit to see its full damage potential.

Included in the Infographics are the general details, camo unlock requirements, base stats, some .357 loadouts, and a listing of the Attachment Unlock Levels.

The fun thing with the .357 is that it offers for some creative loadouts and packs a punch. The sniper loadout is fun, but requires a slower play style as you will lose a lot of mobility with the stock attachment.

Other Effective .357 Loadouts

.357 Akimbo Loadout – If you’re looking to run the .357 Akimbo, here is a suggested loadout. Since you don’t have to ADS, you can take advantage of the range increase that the .357 long barrel, use the snake shot and get that hip fire reduction with the 5mW laser. You could also sub the 1mW laser if concerned about the laser visibility.

The Pre-Snakeshot Loadout – Let’s be honest, without the Snakeshot ammo, the .357 is not a great pistol, unless you can consistently hit headshots. Until you unlock the Snakeshot though, you will need an effective loadout. This one should do the trick from levels 22-29.

For an earlier level kit, you could sub for the snub nose barrel (lvl 5) if you’re not up to level 20 for the ordnance barrel and run without SOH.

On the whole, the Snakeshot ammo is lethal up close, especially under 8m, where it is a one shot kill. Make sure to ADS though to tighten that bullet spread.

We just updated the .357 and added the 2nd infographic. We also added several more loadouts, details on the snakeshot ammo, akimbo challenge and just cleaned up some of the stats.

That’s a tough one, both have their place, but I would probably have to go with the .357 Akimbo Snakeshot. I do really enjoy “lighting” people up with the Dragon’s Breath Rounds though.
