Bruen MK9

Hey gamers, today we are looking at the brand new Bruen MK9 Weapon Information for the Light Machine Gun in Modern Warfare.

First Thoughts on the Bruen MK9

We unlocked the Bruen last night after God knows how many games of shipment, spamming Smoke Nades. I’m glad that’s over with… Anyway, THIS GUN SHREDS!!! After 5-6 games playing with the Bruen MK9, it is by far the best LMG in the game, and I don’t even have any of the stats at the moment to back it up. I finished first on my team in 4 of those games and had the most kills of anyone in game in 3 of them.

What makes it beast?? It has good mobility for an LMG, has a high rate of fire and there is very little recoil, even if you run it at level 3 with just a G.I. Mini Reflex sight.

It is DEFINITELY worth the grind to unlock. While Shoot the Ship is active, it’s your best opportunity with the close quarters smoke battles. Yes, it sucks, but you won’t regret it.

How to Unlock?

The MK9 Bruen was just released during a Season 3 update on 4/28 and is available through completing a challenge.

The challenge requires you to: Kill 3 enemies with an LMG when the enemy is near smoke in 15 Different Matches. This challenge is pretty difficult, as for one, the game’s decision of how close an enemy is to smoke is pretty unforgiving. It is a frustrating challenge, but we recommend doing the challenge on Shipment. The close proximity really helps.

Bruen MK9 Weapon Information

The MK9 Bruen has a weapon max level of 59. The other interesting thing to notice in the attachments is the inclusion of a 60 round lighter weight magazine as well as a skeleton stock, which look to offer up some pretty good mobility with this weapon.

After more games than necessary, we finally unlocked the Bruen and have all the Unlock levels completed.

In looking at the numbers, the Bruen is a top tier TTK weapon under 40m or so. When stretched at longer ranges, some of the other LMG’s will outclass it, but they don’t offer the mobility and overall control that the Bruen does.

Spray Paint – 525 Kills
Woodland – 75 Headshot Kills
Digital – 65 Crouching Kills
Dragon – 45 Hipfire Kills
Splinter – 45 Longshot Kills
Topo – 45 Mounted Kills
Tiger – 180 Kills w/ 5 Attachments
Stripes – 30 Double Kills
Reptile – 75 Kills with 0 Attachments
Skulls – 25 Kill 3 Enemies w/o Dying
