Season 3 Leaks – Modern Warfare

Season 3 of Modern Warfare is coming soon, and with that, leaks about what is coming in the form of new maps, weapons, operators, game modes and more.

Within the last update, data miners have discovered several additions that will be possibly be coming to Modern Warfare in the near future including 2 throwback maps, 2 new guns, new Warzone game modes, as well as a big leak for Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remaster!

New Guns Suspected

These 2 new guns will probably be unlocked as free items in the Season 3 Battlepass similar to how the other weapons were released around levels 15 & 31 of the Battle Pass.

SKS Sniper (Marksman or Sniper Rifle)

Possible Marksman Rifle or Sniper Rifle with faster rate of fire. Lightweight semi auto Carbine chambered in 7.62 x 39mm. This hard hitting and agile Soviet rifle focuses on utility over accuracy. It flaunts a faster fire rate than other weapons in its class, but a carefully placed round will eliminate the need for follow up shots entirely.

This was one of my favorite guns from the Battlefield Franchise, so we’re excited about this one! Hopefully it’s a blend of the MK2 Carbine and the FAL.

Renetti (Pistol)

Well rounded semi-auto 9mm pistol. This unassuming sidearm excels in close range combat, and features gunsmithing capabilities unique to the pistol class that permit a variety of engagement strategies. Possibly a faster rate of fire with a burst configuration similar to 93R burst pistols from other games. We’ll see how this one pans out.

New Operators

Possibility for 2 new Operators, Alex & Ronin. They are most likely going to be unlocked or purchased just like the Season 2 new operators, Ghost, Mace & Talon.

Possible new Playlists and Game Modes

The in-game files mention multiple new playlists for Call of Duty: Warzone including Duos and Quads that could be coming soon.

We should caution that these playlists could just be for testing right now, and there’s no indication of possible release dates for these playlists.

Here’s a list of leaked playlists from the game files:

Battle Royale Duos
- Teams of Two. Loot and Kill. Last team standing wins.
Battle Royale Quads
- Teams of Four. Loot and Kill. Last team standing wins.
Battle Royale High Action
- Loot and Kill. The Gas closes in faster, so get moving.
Battle Royale Shotty Snipers
- Shotguns and Snipers only. Near? Far? Wherever…BR. There are no Loadout drops.
Battle Royale One Shot
- Battle Royale with 1-shot Headshots and no loadout drops.
Realism Battle Royale
Hardcore Battle Royale

Well, that’s a lot to take in, and again, this is all speculation based off of some data mining. At least it will give us something to talk about for the next few weeks…
