Modern Warfare Season 3 – April 8th

Modern Warfare Season 3 will release on April 8th. Season 3 will bring new operators, new maps, new modes, guns, and a brand new Battle Pass for the game, allowing players to experience brand new content within the Modern Warfare and Warzone.

With the image above it appears we will also see the return of Backlot.

As usual, there will be a Battle Pass for purchase, but as of yet, the official Season 3 Roadmap has not been released. Below was the Season 2 Roadmap.

As soon as we get the roadmap, we’ll get it posted on here so we can officially see where we are at with the new guns, maps, operators, modes and more.

Season 3 Suspected content

We have a prior post which has some suspected content for Season 3. Prior leaked information stated that the 2 new guns would be the SKS Battle Rifle, either a Sniper or Marksman Rifle, and the Renetti pistol, a possible burst fire pistol from other FPS Games. Additionally, we would be getting Alex and Ronin as new operators in addition to Backlot and Village for the new maps. See that Post here.

Until then, as we wait for Season 3, Infinity Ward has kicked off a Double XP Weekend from now through April 6th, so level up while you can.
