SKS Laser Accuracy
Today’s post is about how to give the SKS Laser Accuracy in Modern Warfare.
The picture below shows 7 shots all to the head. In actuality, this was a 20 Shot Round from halfway across the map, showing how accurate the SKS can be at distance with the right setup, read on to get the loadout and see some of our test footage in the Video below.
First, let’s talk about the SKS. The SKS is one of the newest weapons added to Modern Warfare with Season 3, and is available when you get the Battle Pass to Tier 31. The SKS’s has the best rate of fire for the Marksman Rifles and does 100 damage to the Head within the first 50 meters: so a well placed headshot is an instant kill. It has 20 rounds, with 40 in reserve and sports good mobility, reload speed and handling. It does have quite a bit of idle sway though with anything more than a reflex or holo sight (but we show you how to fix that!).

The SKS, when scoped in at 50 meters without the proper attachments has quite a bit of idle sway, so hitting that target is going to be kind of hard. Additionally, when shooting, the gun appears to jump around, but you need to trust that the weapon is spot on. In order to combat that, you will need some attachments with Aiming Stability. Below is our #1 Recommended Loadout to use to turn the SKS into that laser accurate rifle.
Loadout #1 – SKS Laser Accuracy
There are 3 Key attachments here for the laser accuracy, the Commando Foregrip, the SKS Rifle Stock and the Tac Laser. Other attachments are your choice, but the FTAC Landmark Barrel, combined with your choice of Optic, will turn this into a Headshot machine.
Loadout #2 – SKS Mobility Build
With regards to the second loadout, it is still quite accurate, but focuses more on gaining extra mobility and ADS Speed. You lose some of the recoil and stability, but this is still a very formidable build.
With this build, you get higher mobility from the 16″ FSS Para barrel as well as the sawed off stock, but still keep some recoil control and aiming stability by having the Merc Foregrip and Tac Laser. The optic is your choice here. The PU Scope is only shown from testing purposes as seen in the video above.
We have used both of these loadouts in game and both are extremely effective. In Hardcore, Build 1 is nearly unstoppable as the SKS is a 1 shot kill at any range. When combined with the Renetti as a sidearm, we went on an easy 13 kill streak in Hardcore Free-For-All.
Hopefully these 2 loadouts will help you with your SKS builds. This was one of our favorite weapons in the Battlefield franchise, and probably one of our new favorites now.
