Season 4 – Delayed
So, we’ve all heard the news, Season 4, which should be live right now has been delayed for Modern Warfare.
Season 4 when released promises to be an incredible season with more new operators, weapons, maps, game modes and more. There’s even rumors of massive updates to Warzone and the Warzone map.
Season 4 Weapons
As far as weapons, it looks as if the Galil Assault Rifle and the Vector/Fennec SMG are going to be the two free BattlePass weapons, most likely at Tier 15 & 31, as in prior seasons. We have already dedicated pages to them here on the site and are working on prepping the infographics so that when the guns release, we can get that info updated ASAP.
Other guns including the Rytec AMR, G28, and AN-94 also reportedly popped up, as well as references to melee weapons such as the Akimbo Blades and Akimbo Batons. YouTuber, nickcool2901 has since uploaded a short video showing the alleged Fennec, Akimbo Blades, Rytek AMR and Galil in action.
Season 4 Operators
It looks like Captain Price will be the Free Tier 1 Operator. In the trailer, Price mentions a “business trip” with “some old comrades” and concludes the video aboard the plane we’re used to parachuting from in Warzone. The final shot also shows Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick—from MW’s campaign—standing next to Price, which suggests that he may feature as a playable operator, too. There looks to be a third operator as well, but is currently unnamed.
Season 4 Maps
As far as new Season 4 Maps, it looks as if we may get 5 new MP maps
- Scrapyard
- Oilrig
- Broadcast
- Garden
- Harbor
As well as four possible Gunfight maps:
- Drainage
- Train
- Trench
- Townhouse
There is a lot of additional content coming in Season 4, but for now, these are some of the rumored content, and we also have not seen a roadmap yet out of IW confirming any of this information. With all the other seasons, a roadmap was released a day or two prior to the season confirming and hyping the content, but we haven’t seen that yet.
