Fifine Studio Condenser USB Microphone Kit – Should you buy?

Over the recent holiday, I picked up a Fifine Studio Condensor USB Microphone Kit off of Amazon. Having used the microphone for about 3 months now, I wanted to provide an overview of the Microphone, it’s benefits and features, as well as some Pro’s and Con’s. If you’re looking to purchase one of these, read through the whole review.
In general, it has been a great addition to my A/V setup. The sound quality has been great for recording as well as for various Zoom meetings. Keep in mind though, you cannot use this mic to plug into an XBOX, or other device for Chat purposes. It does make a great mic though if you are looking at streaming from your computer. Pro’s
- Great Sound Quality
- Easy Setup – Took maybe 10 minutes
- Great Value for the Kit and everything that you get with it. Similar kits or microphones of similar quality cost much more.
- Portability is great with the extra Tripod
- Length of Cable is great for Desktop Setups
Con’s
- No way to support USB Cable – I had to tie strap it around the Scissor arm to keep it from dangling on the desktop
- The pop filter arm after about a month started sagging and wouldn’t stay in place, so I eventually just took it off.
- Cable Length for larger studios might not work well, you may need to get a longer cable length.
- Can’t directly plug in to Gaming Device for chat, but works well on PC.
Overall Review – FIFINE Studio Condenser USB Microphone
Overall, I have been very satisfied with the purchase of the Fifine Studio Condenser USB Microphone. In addition, the microphone quality has been great, it connects and is easily identified by the computer. The Scissor arm is a good quality and I haven’t had any issues with it; the microphone stays in place wherever I move it. So far, the only issue I have had with the microphone has been with the Pop Filter not totally staying in place when I try to adjust it. Eventually I just took it off and use the foam microphone pad instead. This is better as it is less bulky on the desktop and to me, looks nicer anyway.
If someone were to ask me whether I would buy another one of these, or recommend you purchase it, I would say Definitely.

Microphone
Overall, the quality of the microphone has been great. There have been no issues and it has performed up to my expectations. Is this going to give you super high studio quality, maybe not, but for 99% of Mic users, this will be a great microphone.
Accessories
The quantities of accessories provided in this kit allows you full customization of your audio setup. The length of the scissor arm, USB cable and durability of the Pop Filter clamp, kept us from giving this a 5 star rating.
Quality & Value
The overall quality of the microphone and the value that you get for under $70 is great. You may find other kits out there cheaper, but trust me, the quality may not be there.
