Duplication Glitch – Cyberpunk 2077

This duplication glitch for Cyberpunk 2077 is the most useful exploit in the game right now in terms of building a dominant character right from the start of the game. You can use this trick to duplicate any item in your inventory.

First, we will explain the way the trick works, and then share some videos showing how it is done.

In order to duplicate an item, you must first visit any of the various drop points in the game. When you are at the Drop point, and the sell icon appears, you want to hit two buttons or keys simultaneously. The first being the Sell button, the second being the Menu button (the button or key you would hit to save the game). When you do this correctly, the sell screen will get a little blurred, and in the upper LH corner of your screen, you should not be able to see your level or street cred very well. The top horizontal bar should have a bow to it. See an image Comparison below.

This is the Normal Drop Point Screen. Thet op line is horizontal, you can easily read the Level and Street Cred and you can’t see the Drop point in the Background.

This is the Glitched Drop Point Screen, the Top line is curved, you can’t read the level or street cred as well and you can see an overlay of the Drop point in the Background.

At this point, you can sell any item you want, over and over again, regardless of the quantity that you have in your inventory. Keep in mind though, that you will lose that item when you sell it, so we don’t necessarily recommend selling legendary weapons or clothing, without first saving your game! You can duplicate them, but sometimes they will revert to lower level items if it is not an Iconic Legendary Item. However, you will also gain the amount of gold for that item as well. Also, in order to get your duplicated items back, you will have to buy them back, so you will want to combine this with our Endless $$$$ tip as well. This may not sound like a big deal, but this is useful for a variety of the other tips and tricks in the game, from duplicating skill shards, to earning endless money, to utilizing the Crafting Glitch.
