Skill Shard Duplication Guide – Cyberpunk 2077

This is the Skill Shard Duplication Guide for Cyberpunk 2077. There are two skill shards right now that you have the ability to duplicate, the Quickhacking and Handguns Skill Shards. This is because these two shards have locations where you can actually get 2 shards at a time instead of 1. When you TAKE ALL, it will put 1 skill shard in your inventory, then use the other one. You can then use the duplication glitch to make more of these skill shards!

Handgun Skill Shard Location

The Handgun Skill Shard is found north of Kabuki Market off of a dead electrician. See the video below for more details on the location.

When discovering one of these skill shards, make sure to TAKE ALL, as Learning the Shard will consume them which you don’t want to do in this case. Once you have the Handgun Skill shard in your inventory, go to a nearby drop point, and use the duplication glitch on the shard as many times as you want. Each time you duplicate the shard, it will give you the experience up until you max out the skill at whatever level you are at. When done, go back into the drop point and buy 3 or more of the shards back. If you only buy 1 it will consume it right away. This will ensure that as you continue to level up your reflexes, you will have shards on hand.

Quickhacking Skill Shard Location

To get the Quickhacking Skill Shard, you will want to fast travel to the Solar Arrays and head to the Crime Location just north of that Fast Travel location. At this location, you will find some enemies you will have to fight. After you have defeated the enemies, search around and you will find 2 Quickhacking shards in a bag, and another on the enemy on the ground.

Make sure to grab the 2 from the bag first, before you get the one on the ground. This will actually put 2 of them into your inventory which you can then use to duplicate. See the video below for additional details.
